Kill the BEAST
The Terato Dragon has come to Legends Reborn — the real dragon model, not a stand-in. Once a day it waits in the Beast Arena, and whoever brings it down drops a pile of Dragon Ball Scrolls and +3 Stones for their team.
It is the toughest fight on the realm: 5 million health, healing 2,500 every second, and five dragon skills — a tail sweep, fire from above, a breath cone, a roar that freezes you in fear, and a ring of flame. Come with a full team and your best gear.
Updated 27 September 2026: the Beast now fights with its five skills, and it rises and announces itself as soon as its 24 hours are up — even with nobody in the arena.
Before you go: update your game
The dragon's model, textures and skill effects are new client files. Close the game completely, then start it through the Legends Reborn updater — it downloads them automatically, and there is nothing to install by hand. If you skip the updater, you won't see the dragon or its skills properly.
How to get there
Talk to any Guild Conductress and choose “Join Kill the BEAST.” The trip is free.
| City | Guild Conductress |
|---|---|
| Twin City | 350, 337 |
| Desert City | 492, 669 |
| Bird Island | 743, 627 |
| Ape City | 567, 584 |
You arrive in the Beast Arena at (100, 100). The Beast stands at (227, 231), in the far south-east of the arena. There is no walking path between the two — you cross by jumping:
- Walk east to about (240, 128).
- Jump onto the small platform at about (228, 143).
- Jump south again, to about (233, 157).
- From there it is open ground down to the Beast at (227, 231).
It spots you from 18 tiles away — about a screen — so gather your team before you walk into view.
The arena
- No PvP. Player killing is switched off in the Beast Arena — everyone there is on the same side.
- If you fall, you revive in Twin City.
- There is no exit portal. Use a teleport scroll to leave.
What you are fighting
| The Beast | |
|---|---|
| Level | 140 |
| Health | 5,000,000 |
| Healing | 2,500 health every second, without pause |
| Physical defence | 7,000, taken off every single hit |
| Magic resistance | Shrugs off 85% of magic damage |
| Attack | 7,000–9,500 before your defences. Claws anyone within 4 tiles, and uses a dragon skill every 4–7 seconds |
That healing is the whole fight in one number: if your team's combined damage per second is below 2,500, the Beast heals back everything you land and you will never finish it. The 7,000 defence means weak hits barely scratch it — only strong physical attackers really move the health bar, so bring your best-geared fighters.
The Beast is not part of the city bosses' half-strength change: it fights at full power.
Its five skills
Every 4–7 seconds the Beast uses one of these, picked at random. Each hits up to 16 players; between skills it claws anyone standing within 4 tiles.
| Skill | Where it hits | Damage |
|---|---|---|
| Tail Sweep | A cone behind the Beast, 6 tiles long and 120° wide | Physical, a little more than a claw |
| Flame Shower | Everyone within 5 tiles of its target | Magic, 85% of its attack |
| Dragon Breath | A cone toward its target, 12 tiles long and 90° wide | Magic, its full attack |
| Fear Roar | Everyone within 9 tiles of the Beast | No damage — you are frozen in fear for 2.5 seconds and can't walk, attack or cast |
| Misty Flame | Everyone within 8 tiles of the Beast | Magic, 75% of its attack |
- Magic skills can't be dodged. Magic resistance (up to 80%) and magic defence cut them down, and so do the Legendary Ears and Shield. Physical defence only helps against the claws and the Tail Sweep.
- Flying doesn't help. An Archer in the air is hit like anyone else.
- No Superman bonus. A Warrior's Superman doesn't multiply damage against the Beast.
- Immune to poison, and Dash hits it without moving it.
The damage board
Every hit on the Beast is counted for the player who landed it — your summon's hits count as yours. While it's alive, the top five damage dealers appear on the score board at the side of the screen (the one Guild War uses) for everyone in the arena, updated every 5 seconds.
The reward
When the Beast dies, 10 Dragon Ball Scrolls, 10 +3 Stones and 1 Clean Water drop around it, split into three shares for the top three on the damage board who are still in the arena:
| Place | Share (7 pieces) |
|---|---|
| #1 | 7 Dragon Ball Scrolls |
| #2 | 3 Dragon Ball Scrolls, 4 +3 Stones |
| #3 | 6 +3 Stones, 1 Clean Water |
- Your share is yours alone for 45 seconds. Anyone else who tries to pick it up is told whose it is. After that, anything left is free for all.
- With fewer than three players on the board, the unclaimed shares are free for all straight away.
- The loot stays on the ground for 2 minutes. Keep 7 bag slots free.
- The whole server is told who the top three were, and each of them gets a message with their place.
- A lucky kill can also award 30,000 Conquer Points! Terato has a 10% base chance to award a TopLegendsCPBag, separately from the ranked loot above. This is a chance-based bonus, not guaranteed CP for every kill.
The CP bag goes to the credited killer, not automatically to each of the top three damage dealers. It enters their inventory when space is available; otherwise, look for it on the ground. Right-click the bag to claim 30,000 CP.
Each character can receive one Terato CP bag per UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. The cap counts successful bag awards, not kills or openings. Active drop-rate event multipliers apply to the base chance, but do not increase the daily cap. See the LegendsCP bag guide for all rewards and limits.
When it comes back
The Beast returns 24 hours after it is killed, on its own — nobody has to be in the arena. The whole server sees “Kill the BEAST has begun!” the moment it rises, and another message naming the player who slays it. The event board on the home page counts down to its return.
Tips
- Bring a full team. The healing makes small groups disproportionately slow; below 2,500 damage per second you can't win at all.
- Physical damage wins. 85% magic resistance means a team of casters will struggle; bring healers to keep the fighters standing.
- Never stand behind it. The Tail Sweep only hits the cone behind the Beast.
- Spread out. Flame Shower lands on everyone near its target, and Dragon Breath runs 12 tiles in a line toward it — a tight crowd takes every hit together.
- Keep healers and archers more than 9 tiles away. Out there they are safe from Fear Roar and Misty Flame, so they can keep healing and shooting while the fighters are frozen.
- Watch the health bar, not the damage numbers. If the bar isn't falling, you need more people.
- Damage decides the loot. The top three on the damage board each get first claim on a share, so keep your damage up to the very end.
Numbers here reflect what's live on the realm right now and may be tuned as we watch how the fight plays out.
